Unsane is a highly influential American noise rock trio from NYC (formed 1988) known for its brutal, abrasive sound blending hardcore punk and metal, featuring distorted guitars, feedback, and gruesome album art. Led by Chris Spencer, they inspired a cult following with hits like “Scrape” and have been active on and off for decades.
