OVO Hydro
The OVO Hydro is Glasgow’s flagship indoor arena, hosting global stars, blockbuster concerts and large-scale events. With its striking dome design and capacity of up to ~14,300, it’s the biggest entertainment venue in Scotland and a must-see for any major live performance.

🎶 About the Venue
Built between 2011 and 2013 and designed by Foster + Partners, the OVO Hydro opened in September 2013. It is part of the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), alongside the SEC Centre and the SEC Armadillo. The arena is highly flexible in design: it features fixed, retractable and removable seating to accommodate concerts, sporting events, and other large-scale shows. With a typical seated capacity of ~12,306 and standing setups pushing it to ~14,300, it ranks among the busiest and most versatile venues in the UK. Over the years, it has become a cornerstone of Glasgow’s live entertainment landscape, attracting international touring acts, large concerts, comedy shows, sports events and special presentations.
