The Tommy Burns Story. You’ll laugh. You will cry. You’ll sing a few songs. Coming to Glasgow’s King’s Theatre from 11th – 12th July 2025.

The Tommy Burns Story returns to the Kings Theatre. The show celebrates the life of the man who grew up in the Calton, before going on to play for and manage his beloved Glasgow Celtic. The self-proclaimed “supporter who got lucky”.

This is not a football play. It’s a play about an amazing man who happened to be a footballer. It covers the three items he cherished above all else, his Family, his Faith and his Football.

Tommy Burns, the Scottish footballer and manager, was a revered figure in the sport. Known for his loyalty to Celtic FC, he served as both player and manager, leaving an indelible mark on the club. Burns’ passion, leadership, and dedication endeared him to fans, earning him legendary status in Scottish football history.
