With Tenacious D’s new album Rize of the Fenix due out soon, the cock-rocking comedy duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass have announced plans to take their array of acoustic tunes (and penis jokes) on the road for a short UK tour.

The tour will take place in June this year, with a few gigs in London before making their way north up to Manchester and finally to Glasgow.

Rize of the Fenix features a full five-piece band including Dave Grohl on drums, but there’s no word as to whether this tour will feature any backing players or just the core duo.  Tickets for the Glasgow date are now on sale…
