Sam Ryder is the UK’s most successful Eurovision contestant for 25 years. He has announced his new run of UK dates for 2023. Coming to Glasgow’s Barrowland on 22nd March 2023.
Representing the UK with his song ‘Space Man’, the singer-songwriter Sam Ryder has already had heavy rotation on both Radio 1 and Radio 2. He’s also been doing the rounds on various TV shows around Europe. He impressed Eurovision fans with both his rehearsal footage and press interviews ahead of his success in the final.
Ryder co-wrote ‘Space Man’ with Grammy-winning songwriter Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud) and Max Wolfgang. The singer from Maldon, Essex, has busked his entry on street corners in The Netherlands and Spain. Not to mention Serbia, he has also shared clips of the performances on social media. Ryder also received an influential pledge of support from both Damiano David of 2021’s Italian winners,. As well as Måneskin and Austria’s winner Conchita Wurst.
Sam’s gig in Glasgow lastnight was superb from start to finish. The crowd were putty in his hands.
It was an electric experience, showcasing superb vocals from the lead man. I would recommend people to witness his graciousness, kindness, warm , funny and out of this world talent. I for one will be tuning in to attend another extraterrestrial Sam Ryder gig experience.
