Kylie Minogue belongs to that upper echelon of pop royalty. One of those select few whose reputation and contribution to music is understood just by uttering her first name. Rightfully going by just Kylie in recent years, then, Australia’s highest-selling recording artist of all time continues to reinvent herself. Releasing her electropop-tastic 16th studio album Tension in 2023 as well as embarking on her first ever Las Vegas residency.
Born in Melbourne in 1968, the actor-turned-singer broke into the global charts in 1987 with ‘I Should Be So Lucky’. The first of a long and fruitful collaboration with Stock, Aitken & Waterman. The hits that folllowed are almost endless, from ‘Especially For You’ with Jason Donovan to ‘The Loco Motion’. As well as ‘Can’t Get You out of My Head’, ‘In Your Eyes’ and ‘Spinning Around’.
In February 2024, Kylie was announced as the next headliner for American Express presents BST Hyde Park, taking to the stage on Saturday 13 July.
In September 2024 Kylie announced the Tension Tour, her biggest since 2011 with UK dates in May 2025.
