Originally launching back in 2008 under the name Glasgowvant (a playful mash-up of Glasgow and galivant). The site was built to celebrate getting out and about, enjoying shows, events and days out across the city. It quickly became known for its popular Glaswegian Dictionary. A light-hearted look at the slang, humour and character that makes Glasgow unique.

In October 2022, Glasgowvant evolved into Our Glasgow. Giving the site a fresh and modern look while keeping the same spirit at its heart. We remain a site run by locals, for locals. Focusing on family-friendly things to do, exciting events, top venues and helpful guides to make the most of the city. Today we also work with trusted affiliate partners, helping our audience get even better value for money on tickets, attractions and entertainment throughout Glasgow.
