The Temperance Movement are a blues rock band from Glasgow. Coming to Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on 19th November 2026.
British blues rock band The Temperance Movement were formed in 2011 by Glasgow-born vocalist Phil Campbell and guitarists Luke Potashnick (ex-Rooster and Ben’s Brother) and Paul Sayer. The line-up was then completed by former Jamiroquai bassist Nick Fyffe and Australian-born drummer Damon Wilson, who had previously played with the likes of Ray Davies, The Waterboys and Feeder.
The band released their first EP in 2012, and their eponymous debut studio album was released the following year.
Potashnick left the band in 2015, but a second album, White Bear, soon followed in January 2016.
