Emerging as a prodigious talent inspired by the likes of Usher and Michael Jackson. Chris Brown’s rise to stardom was meteoric, with his 2005 self-titled debut album heralding his arrival as not only a fresh voice in R&B, but also a charismatic performer with a gift for choreography. Taken from the album, his breakout single ‘Run It’ peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Proving an instant dance floor anthem thanks to its catchy blend of R&B and hip-hop. Featuring a rap verse from Juelz Santana, the track also spawned a remix featuring industry heavyweights Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri, foreshadowing his boundless influence within music.

In the years following, Chris Brown has consistently delivered genre-spanning hits across R&B, pop, hip-hop, and even electronic dance music, to become one of the most commercially successful artists of our time.
